FOMALGAUT BUILDING UNIVERSITY IS A PROFESSIONAL SPECIALIST OF THE FUTURE

The FOMALGAUT-GROUP, a group of companies, is changing the approach to the implementation of construction work: from a conscious choice of high-quality materials to the technological and professional performance of repair and construction works. Understanding of social responsibility regarding the future of Ukrainian society has become the basis for our own large-scale social and educational project — FOMALGAUT BUILDING UNIVERSITY (FВU). The FВU project aims to unite on parity terms those who teach, who study and those who implement high-quality and durable construction projects.

 

THE MAIN PURPOSE OF THE SOCIO-EDUCATIONAL FBU PROJECT

– formation of an open communication platform of a complementary partnership between education, business, society and government;

– creation of a universal design of available territories of professional competencies for implementation of flexible trajectories of vocational training of the economically active population throughout life;

– formation of a technologically competent, professionally demanded labor potential of Ukraine;

– support and motivation of talented youth in the implementation of their own career growth;

– assistance in raising the prestige of construction worker profession among Ukrainians;

 

EXPECTED RESULTS OF FBU

– the construction sector of Ukraine will receive the worker with a wide range of competencies;

– a complimentary partnership will help vocational education institutions transform into open and accessible education institutions for every Ukrainian of any age;

– the new format of training will contribute to the quality of vocational education and the prestige of vocational professions in the construction sector in society;

MEMORANDUM ON COOPERATION WITH THE MINISTRY OF EDUCATION AND SCIENCE OF UKRAINE

The Fomalgaut-Polimin company stated its intentions to join the Ukrainian educational space in a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated 29 November 2018.

Real and potential partners and participants of the FBU project (educational institutions of various forms of ownership, level of certification and accreditation, applicants for education, manufacturers of building materials and potential consumers of their products, construction organizations, authorities) began joint activities in the following areas:

  • creation of creative territories of professional competencies — POLIMIN HUBS;

  • development and implementation of didactic and media tools, as well as the use of modern content resources for organizing training on a competency basis in the STEM education format;

  • creation of conditions for the development of youth start-up projects for the construction industry;

  • organization of various forms of training and education for builders, construction foremen, repair workers, developers, cross-sectoral partners in the use of POLIMINTM products;

  • development and testing of flexible paths of training (long-term, short-term, inclusive, dual training) aimed at the use of building materials and modern building technologies;

    • The public launch of the FBU project was the presentation on 30 November 2018 of the first in Ukraine territory of professional competencies — POLIMIN HUB — with a SMART audience based on the State Educational Institution “Odessa Center for Vocational Education”.

    For 2 years, the FOMALGAUT BUILDING UNIVERSITY project:

    • HAS UNITED 22 PARTNERS;
    • HAS CREATED 14 POLIMIN HUB TERRITORIES OF PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCIES;
    • HAS CERTIFIED 300 TRAINEES;
    • HAS JOINED 14 EVENTS OF ALL-UKRAINIAN AND INTERNATIONAL SIGNIFICANCE;
